Getting started with the Niko Home Control user settings software and app*

With the user settings software or app*, you as the end user can modify the various preferred settings which the installer has programmed. The intervention of an installer is no longer necessary. The software and app* have exactly the same functions. The only extra function which the software offers is the possibility to back up and export the energy data (see chapter Back up, export or recover energy data on page 41).

The software comes in the following two versions:

• Niko Home Control user setting software for Windows. You can download this software at http://www2.niko.eu/nlbe/artikel/550-99120

• Niko Home Control user settings software for Mac. You can download this software at http://www2.niko.eu/nlbe/artikel/550-99220 The app* comes in the following two versions:

• as application for iOS. You will find the free ‘User settings for Niko Home Control’ app in the App store.

• as application for Android. You will find the free ‘User settings for Niko Home Control’ app in the Google Play store.

With a laptop, smartphone or tablet, you can adjust the settings wirelessly in one area. You will notice the result after a few sec- onds. You can find more information about Niko Home Control products at www.niko.eu. In this manual, we use screenshots from the English software for Windows.
