Software version and release date
Niko Home Control version 2.26.1 includes an upgrade of both the Niko Home Control programming software and the Niko Home app.
Release date
This version is used for Niko Home Control II installations. It is compatible with the connected controller and wireless smart hub and all products belonging to the Niko Home Control product range at the time of this release, unless otherwise stated.
How to install it?
This upgrade is provided as an automatic upgrade at start-up and can also be downloaded via the Niko website. For detailed instructions, see How to install the latest version of Niko Home Control II .
When should you use it?
Niko strongly recommends upgrading all Niko Home Control II installations to this version to guarantee the correct functioning of the installation. An upgrade is specifically recommended if the installation requires one of the following features or bug fixes:

New product introductions:
Support for the new touchscreen for Niko Home Control, to control the entire Niko Home Control II installation from a central location in your home. The renewed user interface offers easy-to-use favourites buttons that can be operated with a single tap. Address the new touchscreen in the Niko Home Control programming software, and edit the view settings on the touchscreen itself.
Support for the new thermostat for Niko Home Control, to control the heating and/or cooling system in the room where it is fitted. Use advanced automation options of Niko Home Control to save considerable energy.
Connected services:
The battery integration has been improved to ensure that the car charger is prioritised in solar mode, before the home battery is charged with excess solar energy.
Bug fixing
Compared to version 2.25.2:
General:
Improved reliability and stability when using an EV charger in solar mode.
Niko Home app:
Enhanced Sonos integration for a faster and smoother user experience.
Resolved multiple issues where energy flow, devices, and graphs were not displayed correctly in the energy dashboard.
Temperature setpoints for Danfoss thermostats can now be set correctly.
Fixed an issue where upgrade notifications were no longer received.
Resolved an issue preventing the minimum EV charging current from being set correctly.
Programming software:
Fixed an issue where certain configurations could not be uploaded.
Resolved an issue where basic actions and routines were not displayed correctly in the heating system overview.
Added clearer messaging when an action is added to a room with insufficient space.
Fixed an issue preventing Renson ventilation systems from connecting to Niko Home Control.
Improved messaging when a battery, inverter, or EV charger cannot be set up correctly via Modbus.
General improvements and bug fixes.

Corrected the display of the Danfoss icon.
