Dashboard (diagnostics)
Starting point
- You have an installation with a connected controller.
- You have opened the diagnostics page.
- You are on the Dashboard tab.
Description of the Dashboard tab
The Dashboard tab provides a status overview of the installation based on the following components.
Ref | Component | Description |
---|---|---|
A | Current status (installation) |
The status of the installation is shown in the same colour as the status LED on the connected controller. |
B | Latest warnings and error messages | Warnings (orange) and error messages (red) are listed from most to least recent. |
C | Current status (server) |
The server status is shown in the same colour as the server LED on the connected controller.

D | System information and connected controller | You will need this information (e.g. the software version, the latest configuration, the serial number and the IP address) when you contact Niko customer services. |
Colour codes for the current status of the installation
Colour | Meaning | Action |
---|---|---|
Green | The installation is working correctly. | |
Orange | A problem has been detected. | View the Latest warnings . |
Red | An error has been detected. | View the Latest errors . |
Colour codes for the current server status
Colour | Meaning | Action |
---|---|---|
Green | The connection with the Niko server is working properly and the installation has been registered correctly. | |
Orange | The connection with the Niko server is working properly, but the installation has not yet been registered. |
Register the installation on https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu .
Use the MAC address and SN serial number which you can find on the Dashboard page under system information and connected controller.

Red | There is no connection to the Niko server. The internet connection has been interrupted or the Niko server is not accessible. | Check your internet connection. If it is working well, contact Niko customer services. |
