What can you do with NIBE and Niko Home Control?

Manage multi-zone heating and cooling with your heat pump

If you connect your heat pump or heat pump boiler to Niko Home Control, you can control it via the Niko Home app on a tablet or smartphone, the Touchscreen and/or Digital black.

You can control multiple rooms individually, using the following actions:

• Check and set the room temperature

• Choose programs and modes (e.g., home, away, vacation)

• Set up a weekly program

We recommend the following options to make even better use of this connection:

• Include the away mode in the all-off routine; see Basic all-off.

• Turn off the heating when the windows/doors are open; see Custom routine.

Optimise energy consumption of your heat pump

If you connect your heat pump or heat pump boiler via Smart Grid Ready contacts to Niko Home Control, you can use energy routines to optimise energy consumption.

You can perform the following routines:

• Solar mode, to benefit from excess solar energy

• Peak mode, to avoid peak consumption

Available solutions

The API connection is not available anymore. NIBE upgraded their systems to a new cloud platform (myuplink platform), which is not compatible with the API supported by Niko Home Control. You can still use the wired connections.
