Niko Home Control version 2.26.4 includes an upgrade of both the Niko Home Control programming software and the Niko Home app.

How to install it?

This upgrade is provided as an automatic upgrade at start-up and can also be downloaded via the Niko website. For detailed instructions, see How to install the latest version of Niko Home Control II .

When should you use it?

Niko strongly recommends upgrading all Niko Home Control II installations to this version to guarantee the correct functioning of the installation. An upgrade is specifically recommended if the installation requires one of the following features or bug fixes:

Compared to version 2.26.1:

• New product introductions:

  • Support for the new MOTIV touchscreen Touch10.

  • Support for the new MOTIV keypad Sense3.

• Programming software:

  • Niko Home Control is gradually evolving into MOTIV. This new brand is built around one idea: Building Intuition. During this transition, everything continues to function exactly as it does today. No action required, no disruption in your projects.

Bug fixing

Compared to version 2.26.1:

• General:

  • Improved reliability and stability

• Niko Home app:

  • Resolved an issue that prevented a dynamic EMS from being used with a 3x230V electrical installation.

• Programming software:

  • Improved bus information displayed on the diagnostic page for Niko Rocker, Niko Toggle and DALI DT8 devices.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented SMA inverters from connecting to Niko Home Control when used in combination with Sunny Home Manager.

  • Improved the activation flow when connecting a Vaillant system to Niko Home Control.

  • Fixed an issue affecting Huawei inverter connections via Modbus to Niko Home Control.

  • Resolved an issue that could prevent large project files from loading correctly in Niko Home Control.

  • General improvements and bug fixes.
