Dashboard

Situation

Your computer is connected with the connected controller and you want to see a status overview of the installation.

Starting point

You have opened the Diagnostics page and the Dashboard screen is selected in the navigation bar.

Information on the Dashboard screen


On the Dashboard screen you can see the following information blocks:

  1. the Current status of the installation
  2. the Latest warnings and Latest errors
  3. the status of the Server
  4. the System information (connected controller)

View the status of the installation


Through the colour indicator, you can immediately see the status of the installation on the Dashboard screen. It is the same colour as the status LED on the connected controller.

Below is an overview of the possible colours, their meaning and the required action.

View the latest warnings and latest errors



On the Dashboard screen you can see the Latest warnings (orange status) and Latest errors (red status).

The most recent are always at the top.

View the status of the server


Through the colour indicator, you can immediately see the status of the server on the Dashboard screen. It is the same colour as the server LED on the connected controller.

Below is an overview of the possible colours, their meaning and the required action.

OrangeThe connection with the Niko server is working properly but the installation was not yet registered.Register the installation on https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu
Use the MAC address and serial number SN which you can find on the Dashboard.
RedNo communication with the Niko server. The internet connection was interrupted or the Niko server is not accessible.Check if the internet connection is working properly. If that is not the issue, contact Niko customer service.

View the system information (connected controller)


At the bottom of the Dashboard screen you can see System information and information about the Connected controller.

You can find the following System information:

  • the software version of the connected controller


Note! This is the software version of the installation and not the version of the programming software.
  • Last boot of the system (date and time of the last time the system was activated, or of the last upgrade)
  • the System time (time of the installation)
  • the Latest upload configuration (time of the last programming of the installation)

Next to it, you can see the following data of the connected controller:

  • the Serial number
  • the MAC address
  • the IP address (the address of the WAN port on the connected controller)
