SMA: API connection

Please note that you can only link one inverter with your Niko Home Control installation, when using the API connection. If you want to link multiple inverters, you need to use the connection via measuring module(s).

What do you need?

General requirements

You have a computer with the most recent version of the Niko Home Control programming software, see Niko Home Control II release notes.
You have connected both systems to the same home network.

Niko requirements

Vaša inštalácia Niko Home Control musí spĺňať nasledujúce požiadavky:

Musí obsahovať bezdrôtový smart hub alebo connected controller II.
Musí byť nakonfigurovaná pomocou najnovšej verzie programovacieho softvéru.
Musí mať aktívne pripojenie na internet.
Musí byť zaregistrovaná a musíte mať poruke svoju e-mailovú adresu a heslo.

SMA requirements

Your system meets the following requirements:

You have its serial number on hand. You can find the serial number on the SMA product.
It has an active internet connection.
MODBUS port on the inverter is enabled by your PV installer during installation.

When the MODBUS port has not been activated by the PV installer, you will have to enter the SMA installer password during the activation procedure to enable the port.

If you don't have the SMA installer password, please contact your PV installer or fill in the form on the SMA website.

If your system does not meet these requirements, consider the alternative solution: connection via measuring module(s).

Programming of the SMA system

Integráciu partnerských systémov môžete (de)aktivovať pomocou programovacieho systému Niko Home Control. Požiadajte o pomoc profesionálneho inštalatéra. Požiadavky a podrobné pokyny nájdete v návode k softvéru.

Prepojenie môžete aktivovať cez informačný panel. Postup nájdete tu.
Prepojenie môžete takisto deaktivovať cez informačný panel. Postup nájdete tu.
Po deaktivovaní prepojenia dôjde k nasledujúcej situácii:
- Súvisiace funkcie z aplikácie Niko Home Control zmiznú.
- Vaše súvisiace údaje v aplikácii Niko Home Control sa stratia.

Akékoľvek základné akcie a režimy prepojené s vaším partnerským systémom sa takisto aktualizujú prostredníctvom programovacieho softvéru.
