Third-party requirements

Your system meets the following requirements:

  • You have its serial number on hand.

  • It has an active internet connection.

  • MODBUS port on the inverter is enabled by your PV installer during installation.

When the MODBUS port has not been activated by the PV installer, you will have to enter the installer password during the activation procedure to enable the port.

Programming

You can (de)activate the partner integration via the Niko Home Control programming software. Ask your professional installer for help. You will find the requirements and detailed instructions in the software manual.

  • You activate the link in the Dashboard menu. You find the procedure here.

  • You deactivate the link in the Dashboard menu. You find the procedure here.
After deactivating the link, the following happens:

    • The related functions will disappear from your Niko Home Control app.

    • Your related data in Niko Home Control will be lost.

Note that any basic actions and routines linked to your partner system are also updated via the programming software.
