HVAC per thermostat

What is HVAC per thermostat?

With the routine HVAC per thermostat, you can link one or several HVAC indoor units for heating or cooling with an HVAC thermostat. 

Starting point

  • You have created the following:

    • an HVAC thermostat

    • one or several HVAC internal units 

  • You are in the Create overview window.

Procedure

  1. In the right-hand button bar, click on the  Routine button.
    Result:
    The Routine pane appears.

  2. Choose the room as follows:

    • Choose Room from the drop-down list.

    • Click on the room in the drawing area.

  3. Click on the arrow next to the category Climate control.

  4. Click on HVAC per thermostat.

  5. Give the routine a name.

  6. Set the behaviour as follows:

    BehaviourWhat?How?
    AChoose an HVAC thermostat to control the indoor units.

    Click on the plus sign of the thermostat you want to include in the routine.

    You can select only one heating or cooling system. You can choose the release contact of the boiler or heat pump. 

    BChoose a master HVAC indoor unit; this indoor unit will measure the temperature.

    Click on the plus sign of the master HVAC indoor unit.

    C(Optional) choose one or several HVAC indoor units as slave to the master in step B.

    Click on the plus sign of the slave HVAC indoor unit.


    Use Multiselect to select various devices at the same time.


  7. Click on the Close button to return to the Routine pane.

  8. Click on the Close button to return to the Create overview window.
