Moods and 'all moods off' (from softwareversion 1.13.1 onwards)
Situation
This step-by-step plan shows you how to install three moods and one 'all moods off' button on a mood control. For our example, we take the combined living/dining room, and we install the moods 'relax', 'visit' and 'kitchen'.
Starting point
The starting point for this plan is a project in which all of the various inputs, outputs and actions have been defined.
Run through the steps in Adding new project and then Drawing a plan or Upload a background image if there is no existing project and then add inputs, outputs and actions.
Step 1: Add mood control
- Go to Creation in the menu bar at the top.
- Click on add an input.
- Click on mood control in the options list in the right-hand window.
The 4-fold push button will appear in the plan. - Drag the mood control to the correct location on the plan and give it a recognisable name.
- Choose an existing location from the list of options or click on add a location if you have not previously defined one.
- Click on save to return to the Creation start screen.
Step 2: Create a 'relax' mood
- Click on add an action.
The action will appear as a text balloon on the plan. - Give the action a name that relates to the mood you wish to create.
- Choose the location of the mood control from the list.
- Click on continue to add players.
Step 3: Add players
- In the right-hand window, click on Choose players.
The pop-up screen Players for Mood will appear. - Under inputs in the left-hand column, click on the plus in front of Mood control living room.
The eight push buttons for mood control will appear.
- Click on the first button.
A pop-up will appear.
- Choose a symbol from the list and click on close.
- In the location Living room, look for the plus in front of All outputs, in the right-hand column.
You can now choose All lamps or All outputs. - Click on All lamps.
- Select all lights in the Dining room location in the same way.
- Close the pop-up.
In the right-hand window and on the plan, you can see which outputs are linked to the mood button.
- Click on continue to go to the Basic behaviour tab.
Step 4: Set the basic behaviour
- In the right-hand window, select switch on as basic behaviour.
A pop-up will appear. - Click on OK to close the window.
- For every dimmable light, set the required values for this mood.
In the example below, we have turned off a few lights and reduced the intensity of several dimmable lights in order to create a 'relax' mood.
- At the bottom of the screen, click on continue to go to the Conditions tab.
In our example, we work without conditions. - Click on continue to go to the Time automation tab.
In our example, we work without time automation. - Click on save to return to the Creation start screen.
- Repeat these steps in order to create the moods 'visit' and 'kitchen'.
Step 5: Create an 'All off' button
- Go to Creation in the menu bar at the top.
- Click on add an action.
- Give the action a name (e.g. 'All moods off') and location and drag this to the correct location on the plan.
- Click on continue.
Step 6: Select an input
- Click on Choose players.
The pop-up screen Players for All moods off will appear. - In the location Living room, in the left hand column by inputs, click on the plus in front of Mood control living room.
- Select the button that you wish to use (in this case, the fourth button).
- Select the off symbol.
- Click on close.
Step 7: Select the outputs
- In the locations Living room and Dining room, click on the plus in front of outputs, in the right-hand column.
- Select All lamps.
- Click on close.
- Click on continue to go to the Basic behaviour tab.
Step 8: Select basic behaviour
- Select switch off as basic behaviour.
- Click on continue to go to the Conditions tab.
- Click on continue to go to the Time automation tab.
- In the tab Time automation, click on save.
Result
On mood control, three moods and one 'All moods off' are programmed.
- In the plan, click on mood control in order to see an overview in the right-hand window.
