Mood with time automation

The starting point for this step-by-step plan is the Mood with dark condition project.

In this step-by-step plan, a 'TV' mood is added with time automation and a switched socket outlet.

Click Creation at the top of the menu.

Click on add an action.

The action appears in the plan as a text balloon.

Drag the action to the right place.

Assign the action a name that relates to the mood you want to create.

Select the location of the mood control from the selection list.

Click continue.

You go to the players tab.

The TV mood activates a switched socket outlet to which the TV is connected.

Click on add an extra output.

Click on switched socket outlet in the selection list in the right-hand section of the screen.

Drag the switched socket outlet to the right place, and assign it a recognizable name.

Select the location of the mood control from the selection list.

Click save.

Click on the mood control in the plan.

The mood control splits into eight buttons.

Click on a free button.

A pop-up window appears.

Select the TV symbol from the selection list and click close.

The symbol selected will appear on the display of the mood control.

The pop-up window closes.

Click on the outputs in the plan to couple them to the action for this mood.

Click continue.

You go to the basic behaviour tab.

Now set the desired start and stop behaviour for each coupled output.

Click continue at the bottom of the screen.

You go to the conditions tab.

Click continue.

You go to the time automation tab.

Click on add a time.

Enter a time and a frequency.
For example, you can enter a setting that has the TV mood automatically start at 16:00 on weekdays to prevent the children from watching TV earlier than that.

Click on stop this action automatically after a specific time period

In order to save energy, it is advisable to have the mood (action) stop automatically after a specific time period.

Click save.

You return to the start screen of the Creation step.

You can now continue with the Cabinet set-up step.
