Troubleshooting the USB RF interface

ProblemSolution
My wireless controls are not working.
  • Verify that the controls are within the range of the Easywave signal. A diagnostic device (05-370) can be used to determine the wireless signal strength in an environment. The appliance recognizes all 868.3Mhz signals. The nine LEDs on the device indicate the quality of the signals received or the strength of any interrupting signals.
  • Verify in the Niko Home Control programming software the following:
    • You have added the RF USB interface module in the Fill cabinet menu.
    • You have uploaded the project to the installation.

I have replaced the RF interface Easywave (550-00610) DIN module by the USB RF interface. My wireless controls are not working anymore.

In the Niko Home Control programming software readdress all wireless Easywave controls in the installation and upload the project to the installation.

For more information see Software manual Niko Home Control II > Address menu > Addressing modules.

I added the USB RF interface while keeping the RF interface Easywave (550-00610) DIN module in place. When I removed the USB RF interface, the RF interface Easywave (550-00610) DIN module is not taking over.

In the Niko Home Control programming software remove the RF USB interface from the cabinet and upload the project to the installation.

For more information see Software manual Niko Home Control II > Fill cabinet menu > Removing a module.
