Firmware upgrade of the Danfoss Master controller is in progress.

Wait until the upgrade is finished.

There is a communication loss between the Danfoss IconTM Zigbee® module and the wireless smart hub.

  • Execute a ping test. If the test fails, there might be a range problem.

    • Put the devices closer together.

    • Add a Zigbee repeater

  • The wireless smart hub is not powered on. Power on the device.

  • There is a problem with the Danfoss Icon Zigbee module. Contact your HVAC installer to replace the device.

The Danfoss Master controller is not compatible with the Danfoss Icon Zigbee module.

Contact your HVAC installer.

During Zigbee pairing

The Zigbee pairing of the Danfoss Icon Zigbee module with the wireless smart hub is in progress.

  • Duration: 30 s

  • Wait until the pairing is finished. The LED will light up green for a few seconds and will then switch off.

The Danfoss Zigbee module and the wireless smart hub are out of range.

  1. Close the onboarding screen in the Niko Home app or the Address overview window in the Niko Home Control programming software.

  2. Check the distance between the module and the wireless smart hub.

    1. Put the devices closer together.

    2. Add a Zigbee repeater

  3. Perform a factory reset on the Danfoss Icon Zigbee module.

  4. When the problem is resolved, restart the onboarding/addressing process.

  5. When the problem is not resolved, contact your HVAC installer to replace the Danfoss Icon Zigbee module.

The Zigbee pairing started but failed.

  1. Close the onboarding screen in the Niko Home app or the Address overview window in the Niko Home Control programming software.

  2. Check if the wireless smart hub is powered on. If not, power on the device.

  3. Perform a factory reset on the Danfoss Icon Zigbee module.

  4. Check the distance between the module and the wireless smart hub.

  5. When the problem is resolved, restart the onboarding/addressing process.
