When should you use it?

Niko strongly recommends upgrading all Niko Home Control II installations to this version to guarantee the correct functioning of the installation. An upgrade is specifically recommended if the installation requires one of the following features or bug fixes:

New features

Compared to version 2.13.3:

  • Availability of a new operating system that supports audio codec

Bug fixing

Compared to version 2.13.3:

• Bug fix for a possible touchscreen 3 crash in installations that include the analogue external video unit SO-596-01

How do you install it?

Download the software from the Niko website.

Unzip the file TouchOSBundle_2.13.4.zip until you get two ZIP files (one for each generation of the touchscreen).
Copy both zip files to an empty FAT32 formatted USB stick and plug the USB stick in the USB port at the bottom of the touchscreen.
After this upgrade, your touchscreen will no longer work in a Niko Home Control I installation.
