What can you do with Niko Home Control?

By using Niko Home Control with your Aldes system, you can do the following:  


Centralised mechanical exhaust ventilation

(EasyHOME PureAIR Compact Connect
and
EasyHOME PureAIR Compact Premium)

Heat recovery ventilation

(InspirAIR® Side
and
InspirAIR® Top)

Hot water heat pump

(T.Flow® Hygro+
and
T.Flow® Nano)

Heat pump

(T.One® AIR
and
T.One® AquaAIR)

Check and control the fan ventilation speed (e.g. daily, boost, guests, holiday)



Check and control the ventilation mode (auto, program, manual)



Monitor the CO2 level



Monitor the Relative Humidity level



Control and monitor the hot water mode (auto, boost, guests, holiday)


Check the current room temperature


Check and control the requested room temperature


Choose the program mode (e.g. off, eco, comfort, boost, prog)


Check and select the operation routine (e.g. heat, cool, off)


Boost and turn the hot water system on or off

The Aldes functions automatically appear in your Niko Home Control apps and your touchscreens after you activate the link between both systems. These functions can also be combined in routines/actions to control multiple items simultaneously at the simple press of a button (e.g. turn off all the lights and set the ventilation of heating in away mode when pressing the leaving the house button).

  • The available functionality within Niko Home Control depends upon the specific installation features of the Aldes system.
  • You can always use the AldesConnect® app for more advanced settings and configurations.

General
  • No additional electrical wiring is required.
  • You have a computer with a web browser and an internet connection to set up the link between both systems.

Your Niko Home Control installation meets the following requirements:

  • It has a wireless smart hub or a connected controller II.
  • It is configured with the most recent programming software (version 2.13 or higher).
  • It has an active internet connection.
  • It is registered and you have your e-mail address and password on hand.
  • If you want to use the Aldes functions in combination with Niko Home Control actions, these actions need to be programmed with the Niko Home Control programming software before the link is activated.

If you have not registered your Niko Home Control installation, go to mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu.


Your Aldes system meets the following requirements:

  • It is one the following comfort systems:

    • Centralised mechanical exhaust ventilation system: EasyHOME PureAIR Compact Connect or EasyHOME PureAIR Compact Premium

    • Heat recovery ventilation system: InspirAIR® Side or InspirAIR® Top

    • Hot water heat pump: T.Flow® Hygro+ or T.Flow® Nano

    • Heat pump: T.One® AIR or T.One® AquaAIR

  • It is equipped with an AldesConnect™ box.
  • It has an active internet connection.
  • You have your Aldes user account and password on hand.



How do you activate the link between your Niko Home Control and your Aldes system?

  1. Check if you have everything you need (see above).
  2. Go to https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu.
  3. Log in with your e-mail address and password.
  4. Click the Connected services button. This is where you manage all the services linked to your installation, including the Aldes system.

  5. Click the ALL tab or the Add another service button in the ACTIVE tab.

  6. Click the Aldes logo.

  7. Click Activate.

  8. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the activation.


How do you deactivate the link between your Niko Home Control and your Aldes system?

  1. Log in to https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu with your e-mail address and password.

  2. Click the Connected services button. This is where you manage all the services linked to your installation, including the Aldes system.

  3. Click the ACTIVE tab.

  4. Click the three dots next to the Aldes logo and click Deactivate.

     

    After deactivating the link, the following happens:

    • The Aldes functions disappear from your Niko Home Control apps, your touchscreens and Digital blacks.
    • When used in Niko Home Control actions, the Aldes functions will not be executed anymore.


How do you update the link settings between your Niko Home Control and your Aldes system?

  1. Log in to https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu with your e-mail address and password.

  2. Click the Connected services button. This is where you manage all the services linked to your installation, including the Aldes system.

  3. Click the ACTIVE tab.

  4. Click the three dots next to the Aldes logo and click Manage this connected service.

  5. Follow the instructions on your screen.
