Operating the Energy button

In order to activate the energy functionalities you must be logged in to your Niko Home Control installation. The application will ask you to do this whenever necessary. To do so, use the e-mail address and password that you created to register your Niko Home Control installation on https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu/

Press the Energy button https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/guideimages/US_Screenshots/V2.0/EN/9_5.png .

The energy screen appears and displays the values registered by a measuring module over a particular period. The total consumption or the total yield is displayed above the graph. Use https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/guideimages/US_Screenshots/V2.0/EN/9_14_1.png https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/guideimages/US_Screenshots/V2.0/EN/9_14_2.png under the graph to select a previous or next period.

Use the following selection lists at the top to select the following:

  • type of energy reading (electricity, gas, water)

  • period (live, day, week, month, year)

  • make a comparison with another period (month, year), whereby a complete line displays the previous period.

Energy readings are expressed in kWh (electricity) or m³ (gas or water). Based on the cost per kWh or m³ that you enter in the programming software, the indicative cost of consumption (cost per unit x consumed units) appears beside the recorded value.

When you request live details, start a live reading which displays the effective electricity consumption (or yield) of the selected channel for 30 seconds. Live reading is not available for water and gas.
