Assign one auxiliary output as 'release heating' via the control module:
F-series: via menu 5.4
S-series: via menu 7.4.
Configure the heat pump to auto mode to enable this set-up:
F-series: via menu 4.9.2
S-series: via menu 4.1
Only multi-zone valve control is required.
Multi-zone heating/cooling – The heating/cooling mode switchover is initiated by the partner system (pump control not needed)

The heat pump switches between heating and cooling depending on the weather. The Niko Home Control push buttons with LED(s) and comfort sensors must be forced/blocked in the relevant mode via the digital potential-free sensor module for Niko Home Control (550-00210). Configure the heat pump to auto mode to enable this set-up:
F-series: via menu 4.9.2
S-series: via menu 4.1
The auxiliary contacts provide the signal from the heat pump to the Niko Home Control installation to switch from heating to cooling mode and vice versa.
Multi-zone heating/cooling – The heating/cooling mode switchover is controlled by the Niko Home Control user (pump control not needed)

Assign two auxiliary outputs as 'activate cooling (N.C.)/activate heating (N.O.)' via the control module:
F-series: via menu 5.4
S-series: via menu 7.4.
Configure the heat pump to auto mode to enable this set-up:
F-series: via menu 4.9.2
S-series: via menu 4.1
The heat pump's auxiliary contacts capture the signal from the Niko Home Control installation to switch from heating to cooling mode and vice versa. One auxiliary contact can be programmed to block the heating, while another blocks the cooling. Note that if an auxiliary contact is closed, its function is disabled. Five to nine auxiliary contacts are available depending on the heat pump series (F or S).
