Changing the settings
Modifying week programmes
In a week programme, you can set the times and the accompanying temperature level for each day yourself.
1. Touch one of the buttons to light up the display, if necessary. The start screen will appear. | |
2. Keep the middle button pressed down until the settings menu opens. From this screen, you can change the programme, the date and the time, or adjust the calibration. | |
3. Check whether PROG is selected and press the middle button to confirm your choice. The following screen will appear. | |
4. Press the top or bottom button to select the week programme that you want to mo- dify. | |
5. Press the middle button to confirm your choice. The following screen will appear; A week will be shown with a set of seven little dots, from Monday to Sunday. Every line corresponds with a specific day programme, which can be applicable for one or more days. The selected days are amber-coloured. In this example screen, the week days (top line) and the weekend days (bottom line) each have a different day programme. | |
6. To add a day programme: Press the bottom button to select add and confirm your choice with the middle button. To modify an existing programme: Press the top or bottom button to select a line and confirm your choice with the middle button. The following screen will appear: You will receive an overview of the day programme. You can adjust each of the lines by selecting the line with the top or bottom button. You always confirm your choice with the middle button. | |
7. Select the top line with the little dots if you want to modify the days for which the day programme is applicable. The following screen will appear: Scroll through the little dots with the top or bottom button. Press the middle button to deactivate the little amber-coloured dots, or to activate the little white dots. A little amber-coloured dot indicates the day of the week for which the day programme is active, while a little white dot indicates that the day programme is not applicable for that day. Select back to return to the previous screen. | |
8. Select one of the following lines for which you want to adjust the time and/or the accompanying temperature level. The following screen will appear: You can change the following in this screen: • time: you can adjust the time on the first line with the top or bottom button. • temperature: you can choose the temperature which corresponds with the selected time from the list of temperature levels. • time slot within this day programme: select delete to delete it. Always confirm your choice with the middle button. Select back to leave this screen. Repeat the previous steps for each modification that you wish to make to a day or week programme. |
Viewing date and time
The date and time of the Niko Home Control installation are centrally controlled. You can modify the data in the user software. You can view the date and time as follows:
1. Touch one of the buttons to light up the display, if necessary. The start screen will appear. | |
2. Keep the middle button pressed down until the settings menu opens. The following screen will appear. | |
3. Press the bottom button to select DATE. | |
4. Press the middle button to confirm your choice. You will now see the following screen with time, day, month and year. | |
5. Press on the top button to select back, and confirm your choice with the middle button. You will go back to the settings menu. |
Calibrating the thermostat
The installer is responsible for calibrating the thermostat. If you notice that the temperature on the thermostat deviates too much from the actual temperature, you must correct the temperature on the thermostat as follows.
1.Touch one of the buttons to light up the display, if necessary. The start screen will appear. | |
2. Keep the middle button pressed down until the settings menu opens. The following screen will appear: | |
3. Press the bottom button to select CALIBRATION. | |
4. Press the middle button to confirm your choice. | |
5. Use the top or bottom keys until the temperature on the display corresponds to the temperature measured in the centre of the room. You can increase or decrease the temperature on the display by six degrees. | |
6. Press the middle button to confirm the modified temperature. | |
7. Press on the top button to select back, and confirm your choice with the middle but- ton You will go back to the start screen. |
