Register installation
Why register?
In order to be able to control your Niko Home Control installation with your smartphone or tablet, you will need the Niko Home app and your installation must be registered.
This topic describes how to register your installation.
You will choose a username and password during the registration procedure. This is why we advise that the end user carries out the registration of their installation themselves.
Ways to register your installation
You can register your installation:
with the Niko Home Control programming software (see procedure below)
with the Niko Home app
on the My Niko Home Control portal
Starting point
You know the MAC address and serial number of your connected controller or wireless smart hub.
Your computer is connected to the internet.
You are in the Dashboard overview window.
Procedure
In the Get started section, click on “My Niko Home Control”.
Click on “No account yet? Register here”.
Enter the MAC address and serial number of your connected controller or wireless smart hub.
Select where you bought your installation.
Click on the Next button.
If you receive a message saying that the combination of Mac address and serial number has already been used, please contact our customer support service (+32 3 778 90 80). The installer has probably already registered the installation on your behalf, or the previous resident forgot to delete his account. We will make sure that you can log in to the registration page with your own details.Follow the further instructions on your screen.
