What can you do with Niko Home Control?
By using Niko Home Home Control, you can charge your car as efficiently as possible in one of the following modes:
Solar mode
Normal mode
Stop/pause mode
Smart Mode (as of software version 2.21)
Boost mode (as of software version 2.21)
When charging your car with Niko Home Control, the following features are supported:
Load balancing (i.e. the car's charging power is adapted automatically as a fuse overload protection mechanism)
Control your peak consumption via peak mode
(i.e. when you’ve reached your monthly peak target value, your devices will temporarily be switched off. They are switched on again when you’ve reduced your peak power consumption. This feature is especially useful if your electricity net tariff is capacity based)Integration of multiple electric vehicle charging connections (as of software version 2.21)

How do you (de)connect Niko Home Control and your Mennekes EV charging station?
You can (de)activate the link between Niko Home Control and your Mennekes charging station via the Niko Home Control programming software.
Note that any basic actions and routines linked to your Mennekes EV charging station are also updated via the programming software.
