What can you do with Niko Home Control?

Using Niko Home Control with your NIBE system you can do the following:

  • Check the room temperature
  • Check the outside temperature
  • Choose the heating program mode (e.g. home, away, vacation)
  • Control and boost your ventilation
  • Check and boost the temperature of the hot water system

The Nibe functions appear automatically in your Niko Home Control apps and your touchscreens after your activated the link between both systems. These functions can also be combined in routines/actions to control multiple items simultaneously via one simple button press (e.g. turn off all the lights, set your heating system in away mode and boost the ventilation when pressing the leaving home button).

  • Available functionality within Niko Home Control depends upon the specific installation features of the NIBE system.
  • You can always use the NIBE Uplink app for more advanced settings and configurations.

General
  • No additional electrical wiring is required.
  • You have a computer with a web browser and internet connection to set up the link between both systems.

Your Niko Home Control installation meets the following requirements:

  • It has a wireless smart hub or a connected controller II.
  • It is configured with the most recent programming software (version 2.6 or higher).
  • It has an active internet connection.
  • It is registered and you have your e-mail address and password on hand.
  • If you want to use the NIBE functions in combination with Niko Home Control actions, these actions need to be programmed with the Niko Home Control programming software before the link is activated.
If you have not registered your Niko Home Control installation, go to mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu.

Your Nibe system meets the following requirements:

  • It is a NIBE heat pump or ventilation.
  • It is compatible with NIBE Uplink.
  • It has an active internet connection.
  • It is registered and you have your NIBE Uplink account and password on hand.


How do you activate the link between your Niko Home Control and your NIBE system?

  1. Check if you have everything you need (see above).

  2. Go to https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu.
  3. Log in with your e-mail address and password.
  4. Click the Connected services button. This is where you manage all the services linked to your installation, including NIBE.
  5. Click the  ALL tab or Add another service.

  6. Click the NIBE logo.

  7. Click Activate. 

  8. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the activation.


How do you deactivate the link between your Niko Home Control and your NIBE system?

  1. Log in to  https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu with your e-mail address and password.

  2. Click  the Connected services button. This is where you manage all the services linked to your installation, including NIBE.

  3. Click the ACTIVE tab.

  4. Click the three dots next to the NIBE logo and click Deactivate.


After deactivating the link, the following happens:

  • The NIBE functions disappear from your Niko Home Control apps, touchscreens and Digital blacks.
  • When used in Niko Home Control actions, the NIBE functions will not be executed anymore.

How do you update the link settings between your Niko Home Control and your NIBE system?

  1. Log in to  https://mynikohomecontrol.niko.eu with your e-mail address and password.

  2. Click the Connected services button. This is where you manage all the services linked to your installation, including NIBE.

  3. Click the ACTIVE tab.

  4. Click the three dots next to the NIBE logo and click  Manage this connected service. 

  5. Follow the instructions on your screen.
